Absolutely agree on IKEA but I also believe the deals advertised are for elfin folk. In fact, any deal regarding furniture should be considered for children or elves.

Andrew,

I have had ulcerative colitis since I was 15 years old. I am now 43. I have taken all the drugs, most of which don't work. I have taken Prednisone, never again!

The best advice I can give you is not to give in to surgery. I have learned how to manage my UC mostly with diet. I take only 1/3 of the medication that the doctors prescribe and I rarely have flare ups anymore.

Here are the foods that I completely avoid, I mean completely. You just have to give them up, no if's or but's about it. GIVE THEM UP! It will make a big difference in your life.

1. NO SODA (NOTHING AT ALL CARBONATED)- When I gave up any kind of soda at all, about 15 years ago, it changed things tremendously. The acid in soda is like poison to your colon, it can't handle it. Don't drink it.

2.No nuts of any kind.

3. No beans (except green beans I can handle)

4. No popcorn ever

5. No corn

6. Things with sesame seeds

7. Whole grain breads with the nuts and grains that are visible

That is the list that I can think of right now. You have to take it seriously. I know it makes you madder than hell that you can't eat what you want, believe me I still deal with the anger over it. But it has tremendously improved my life be totally eliminating these things from my diet. I rarely have to worry about making it to the next exit anymore because I made these changes.

The doctors didn't tell me any of this stuff. I had to learn over the years by trial and error. I also was stubborn for many years and ate these things anyway because I felt it wasn't fair, but I suffered for it.

I have met several UC patients that have had the surgery and said that they still had problems even after the surgery and in some cases were worse, so I wouldn't even consider the surgery unless you have tried every other alternative first.

I have also had intravenous vitamin therapy which has helped with the fatigue and lack of nutrition that obviously comes from having diarrhea so frequently.

I have also found that taking aloe vera capsules in large mega doses has helped during flare ups.

If you would like to talk 1 on 1 about this email me at jessmhayes@comcast.net.

this is where the whole things gets a little fuzzy. i don't see anything wrong with it. afterall...it's your music. you've allegedly bought the rights for it by buying it. everyone has been paid. you're just storing it somewhere else. and i agree...you're who you let listen to it is irrelevant if they aren't able to download it.

i don't claim to be any kind of legal expert, but here's where i see the legal crux being. the law does not define whether or not one should have to own the place where you store digital music in order to keep it in the realm of your legal ownership. in other words, do i need to actually 'own' this server where i'm storing my music in order to say that it is legally still mine? or what about using the music for 'broadcast use'? i don't know...just throwing it out there. curious to know other opinions on this as well...

I agree with your two drawbacks, though i am not a mac user. but i love the sharing feature...agree, very cool. I dont think it will get nixxed...you cant download and more importantly music labels will need to balance public opinion. I think everyone is sick and tired of them already trying to enforce their silly rules.
